Chikuzen Samonji no Meitou ( Masterpieces by Chikuzen Samonji )

This work documents a significant exhibition at the Fukuyama Art Museum and Sword Museum (Touken Hakubutsukan) dedicated to the works of the famous swordsmith Samonji from Chikuzen Province.

The catalogue comprises approximately 173 pages and shows illustrations of 47 swords from the Samonji school, supplemented by historical background information on the Chikuzen sword-making tradition.

The book is primarily written in Japanese, but often also includes accompanying English texts.
