The Return of Horikawa Kunihiro

This is the catalog for the exhibition "Horikawa Kunihiro Returns," a collaboration between Touken Ranbu Online and the Furukawa Historical Museum. The exhibition is currently on display at the Furukawa Historical Museum in Furukawa, Ibaraki Prefecture (March 18 – May 7, 2023).

It includes detailed descriptions and large-format photographs of all 25 swords by Horikawa Kunihiro on display.

With new theories and additional information, it is a valuable publication.

Kunihiro is considered one of the most important blacksmiths of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and the early Edo period and was the founder of the Horikawa school in Kyoto.
